Human capital in tourism and hospitality

One of the world's leading employers is tourism, with millions of jobs and businesses dependent on the prosperity of the tourism sector. The consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic in the hospitality industry have led to the devastation of human resources, but also carried out a "natural selection of personnel."

2022 brought new challenges. It is obvious that the new realities and the volume of demand for domestic tourism increase the requirements for the competencies of workers in the tourism industry. How to raise the level of knowledge of your employees? What HR development programs are currently being offered and what is really important to consider when investing in staff development?

Discussion questions:

- A new vision for training
- Involvement of youth in the industry
- Increasing the attractiveness and prestige of the tourism industry, expanding the "work in the field", minimizing the outflow of personnel to the centers.
