Viktoria Shelyagova
Cultural historian and art expert, Cultural and Tourism Ambassador of the Moscow Region, RBC expert on domestic travel in Russia, and visionary of the presidential fund's art direction. Viktoria is dedicated to the preservation and development of Russian culture: she restores old houses in the village of Kholuy (Ivanovo Region), supports traditional folk crafts, and curates a collection of Russian antiquities. Concurrently, she acts as an ambassador and values guide for the "Volga Dream" project, discovering Russia through its history, traditions, and travel itineraries. In 2026, Viktoria will curate the "National Symbols of Russia" zone at the "Russian House" exhibition. Her project will be dedicated to the matryoshka---a symbol of family, layers, and that very depth from which conversations about Russian culture usually begin.
