Tourism brands are built on the cultural and historical heritage of the territories, which in turn are rethought in a modern way thanks to the development of creative industries. Creative industries are directly related to regional and national specifics, differ from region to region, which makes them particularly attractive to tourists and travelers.

The speakers of this session will share their experience and present the best cases on how creative industries give impetus to urban development, including the development of "creative cities", create cultural public spaces, form a unique territorial environment that is attractive to tourists.

The purpose of the case session:

As part of the case session, the task is to consider the impact of creative industries on the development of tourism, outline the ways for the most effective mutual influence of these industries, identify priorities in the formation of regional strategies for creative industries and tourism, using the experience available in a number of regions and the Higher School of Economics.

A case session is a practice-oriented event where there should be an exchange of views, experience and cases, business, social and cultural ties and contacts should be established in order to solve the tasks.
