"The world of tourism and travel has changed dramatically. And the change process is not yet finished. There is a surge in the development of domestic tourism in Russia. Travelers want stability on the one hand, and a bright new picture, new routes and discoveries on the other. Many regions of the Russian Federation have created their own "branded routes", which guarantees tourists a certain quality of services provided. However, despite the good quality, these routes are quite textbook and orthodox. To attract the younger generation of tourists, it is necessary to look for new ways. At the same time, there are such new ways in many regions of Russia, but there are no routes where they could be included.
2021 could be another watershed year for the travel business. However, in the toughest "covid" period, for the first time in the history of Russian tourism, the National Project "Tourism and the Hospitality Industry" started. Its success and, accordingly, the success of the development of the industry in all regions of the country depends on whether it will be possible to solve the assigned tasks. One of the tasks of the National Project is to launch new routes that will receive the status of National Tourist Routes, receive support from federal and local authorities. Which will increase tourist flows throughout the country.
As part of the session, the participants will discuss what can be a main points for attracting tourists to the region, the algorithm for creating routes, their expediency. We also will discuss the best cases from different regions of the Russian Federation.
