The Samara region is a region with a rich history, stunningly beautiful nature, developed infrastructure and unique tourist attractions! During the presentation, the national tourist route "Zhiguli Weekend" will be presented.

Zhiguli Weekends is a variety of architectural styles along with the untouched picturesque nature of the Samarskaya Luka National Park, space for recreation and entertainment, a flight of thought and inspiration, the spirit of freedom and beauty creation, Volga hedonism and reserved places, a neo-Gothic castle on the banks of the Volga and the genius of modern automotive production.

In a few days on the trip, guests will be able to appreciate all the shades of Zhigulevsky, sail along the endless expanses of the Volga, visit the place where Ilya Repin painted the famous painting “Barge haulers on the Volga”, “pull the strap” and try the burlak fish soup. On the route there will be an opportunity to find out what connected the Samara region and the English queen, why Samara was called the Russian Chicago and where the Volga Switzerland is located.

The participants of the session will get acquainted with a unique digital product - a user service in the format of a landing page, thanks to which you can easily design your trip both in summer and in winter. The product will be presented by the company "Profi.Travel" and the Ministry of Tourism of the Samara Region.

Participants will also learn about successful practices for promoting the region's tourism opportunities using media resources. Thus, the leading broadcasting agency of the Samara region will present a successful media project with a tourist focus "To whom on the Volga", which tells about travels, significant events, interesting and beautiful locations in the region. The project team presents the concept of a media platform for the regions of the Volga Federal District.
